In a normal yard, on St. Patrick's Day 2023: Christmas lights! A turkey! A pastel-colored inflatable bunny! Leprechauns and clovers! A menorah and dreidels! A 20-foot-tall skeleton and witches and goblins oh my and orange house spotlights! Santy Claus and elves! A large Mexican sombrero! Easter eggs! Random Disney characters (because it's not possible to have too much Disney, ever!) A UFO! 75 US flags! 75 red-white-and-blue crosses! Six Zoroastrian Towers of Silence (nobody else on the block has thought of *that* one yet!) And a partridge in a pear treeeeeee!
Yes!
Let's mix *all* of the holidays in our yard!
Because one isn't good enough, oh no! We are aspirational and, at the very least, must have special customized Christmas lights for the holiday.
But why stop there, where our neighbors usually stop?
No!
We are so very aspirational! We do not stop, ever!
When you are aspirational, you see, no one holiday is ever special enough to enjoy on its own. If any given non-Christmas holiday is not at least 55% Christmas, 10% Easter, and 5% Halloween, it's just not a holiday!
Let's mix *all* the dang holidays!
